Less Time On the Tablet More In The Garden

From the backyard to the garden bed, every walk becomes a new mission. Micromates makes it easy for little hands to zoom in on the small stuff, a leaf, a petal, a busy little bug, and see it in a whole new way. Simple enough for tiny explorers, exciting enough to make them beg for one more discovery.

Testimonials

  • “My 5-year-old is obsessed. He spends ages outside looking at leaves, bugs, and even his own fingerprints on the screen. The 1000x zoom is genuinely impressive and the photo feature means he can show everyone his ‘discoveries’ later. Best screen-free gift we’ve bought in ages.”

    — Sarah M., Auckland

  • “Bought this for my daughter’s 7th birthday and it’s been a hit. Super easy for little hands, the battery lasts forever, and the silicone case has already saved it from a couple of drops. She actually asks to go into the garden now instead of watching tablets. Highly recommend.”

    — James T., Wellington

  • “My twins (age 6) fight over who gets to use it next. It’s sturdy, splash-proof enough for outdoor play, and the lanyard is a smart touch so it doesn’t get lost. Proper educational toy that doesn’t feel like homework. Very happy with it.”

    — Michael R., Sydney

  • “As a teacher-mum I was a bit sceptical, but this is excellent. Clear image, long battery life, and it actually holds their attention. We’ve looked at everything from soil to fabric fibres. A lovely way to encourage curiosity without another app or subscription.”

    — Priya K., Hamilton

  • “Gifted this to my nephew and he hasn’t put it down. The photo capture is his favourite part – he comes running in to show us what he’s found. Simple to use, charges quickly with USB-C, and feels well made. Would definitely buy again for other kids in the family.”

    — David P., Melbourne

  • “We got the purple one and it’s been non-stop fun. The built-in screen makes it so much easier than old-style microscopes – no squinting or frustration. She’s taken photos of flower petals and ant legs and talks about them for days. Great quality for the price, especially on sale.”

    — Emma L., Christchurch
